Have you visited this popular hot spot in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes?

Odell's Yard is situated within the heart of Stony Stratford, a constituent town of Milton Keynes that holds a lot of history dating back to 1194.

Odell's Yard homes two locally well-known and busy sister restaurants, Vero and French Affaire, which has seen both venues settle in beautifully since opening in this hidden hot spot.

French Affaire is the hot topic of this article as we delve into what it's like dining with them, and as you can see in the video, it's always booked and busy so remember to book a table just in case. Complimentary cocktails courtesy of Gunaydin, Milton Keynes - #Gifted

You can already tell that this will be a gorgeous place to visit in the summer, there is plenty of outdoor seating which will enable you to dine outside with lots of sun, pretty views, and also live music as French Affaire is known to host live music events.

There is an array of French cuisine to try at French Affaire, they have plenty to choose from whether it be from their all-day menu, dinner menu, or maybe you would like to try their very popular afternoon tea menu.

French Affaire also offers vegan, dairy, and gluten-free options which were great news for me as I have a gluten allergy.

It was such an honour to be invited to try a dish at French Affaire as I have heard so many positive things about the venue and was yet to venture there.

It is such a picturesque place with a very elegant but casual feel, It makes you feel so cosy and comfortable, especially when they turn on the fireplace.

I ordered garlic creamed mushrooms which consist of creamed mushrooms, parmesan, and gluten-free toasted sourdough with some salad, I also had a latte to accompany this.

One of my favourite dishes is creamy garlic mushrooms so this was an instant hit for me, it tasted absolutely delicious. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and marinated beautifully within the garlic which gave me that strong unique and addictive flavour.

With hints of parmesan and a mix of greens, each bite was heavenly.

The portion was just right, not too less and not too much and it definitely filled a hole in my belly! It was such a wonderful experience to be able to dine in such a highly recommended restaurant, and be able to eat a gluten-free dish!

I can see why French Affaire is a very popular destination, and I will most certainly be going back. I look forward to the summer, I can imagine this restaurant is like a peaceful retreat when it's sunny and glorious outside.

There is so much that French Affaire offers, there is definitely something for all to enjoy whether that be croques, baguettes, omelettes, crepes, lighter options, or afternoon tea just to name a few but I would book your table in advance to avoid any disappointment.
