Sometimes the best reset isn’t found in a retreat, it’s in the sand, the sea, and a week away from everything.

☀️ The Perfect Beach Reset

Got the travel bug and craving a reset in 2025? Hammamet, Tunisia, might just be the soul recharge you didn’t know you needed.

Travel always brings a mix of excitement and anxiety for me, even if I love adventure, new places can still feel daunting. But Hammamet had this rare calm that melted all that away.

The beach there is stunning, deep golden sand, warm clear sea, and that lazy, sun-drunk peace that makes time feel irrelevant. It’s the kind of place where your worries dissolve away with the tide.

🌴 Bel Azur Hotel:

Our Little Haven

My partner Aaron and I stayed all-inclusive at the Bel Azur Hotel, right on the beach. We honestly wished we’d stayed longer.

It’s a huge complex surrounded by nature, with endless entertainment and activities led by the animation team, who are honestly a highlight of the stay.

And speaking of highlights... the cats. 🐱I’ve always helped strays on my travels, but the cat community at Bel Azur was next-level adorable.

Tiny kittens to wise old fluffballs, lounging, exploring, and being loved by guests. The staff and residents really care for them, and as animal lovers, we were in heaven. 🐾

🌊 Simple Joys by the Sea

One of the things I adore about Hammamet is the perfect trio of sun, sea, and sand. I’m a certified beach bum, and so is Aaron.

We spent hours soaking in the warm water, watching the sky light up at sunset, and listening to the waves.

Those moments remind me what freedom feels like, no deadlines, no expectations.

Just being.

FYI you even get free loungers across the beach areas around the hotel, which is such a bonus when most resorts charge extra!

🛍️ Exploring Hammamet

Exploring Hammamet felt like walking through a scene from Mamma Mia.

If you love finding unique trinkets, haggling for treasures, and soaking in local culture, this town is perfect.

We also met a friendly local named Sammy at a spot called Black & White. He arranges excursions at great prices, much better than the hotel ones.

We ended up booking a few activities through him, including quad biking, which was one of the best parts of the trip!

🚴‍♀️ Adventure & Laughter

Quad biking across the Tunisian terrain was pure joy. The weather was gorgeous, the views incredible, and the freedom of just driving through open space? Unreal.

We both drove our own bikes, and I couldn’t stop laughing seeing myself in one of those helmets. Definitely worth it.

Afterward, we had dinner back at Black & White with some live jazz, and I even got up to sing!

💙 The Blue & White Village

On our last day, we took a trip to Sidi Bou Said (the famous blue and white village) and Carthage. Another trip booked through Sammy. It was the perfect finale, full of history, art, and coastal beauty.

We had lunch at a cosy little restaurant called Bleue, where I tried the most unforgettable dish, Cilber: poached eggs, yogurt, chili-spiced butter, and mint, served with fresh bread.

Absolute magic. The place was warm, welcoming, and full of charm.

Our private cab driver for the day guided us through each stop, shared local stories, and dropped us off at the airport later. It made our final day feel like a full-circle moment.

🌅 A Moment to Just Be

This trip wasn’t just a holiday, it was a reminder. Time away like this helps me recalibrate my soul, it gives me space to breathe, to feel free, to just be human without all the noise of everyday life.

You don’t need much, just sunlight, connection, and a moment to pause.
